Something That Makes Me Happy

When I think about happiness, my recent trip to the Bahamas automatically comes to mind. I was not only happy in that warm, magical environment, but the people who lived there were also constantly happy. I asked on of the people there why they were always happy and she bluntly stated, "It's the motto: Don't worry, Be happy". She was 100% right; in our everyday lives, we tend to worry about the little things in life. This mantra that was clearly exhibited throughout the Bahamas is something that I try to remember on a daily basis. Reminiscing this great vacation always makes me happy because I can't remember Paradise Island without thinking of that phrase.
Below are some photos I took throughout my trip in the Bahamas:

I took this photo during a long walk on the beach. I like how the depth of field of the footprints and the directions in which the photo is!
This photo was taken by my friend and it basically sums up how everything should be. YOLO (You Only Live Once) essentially means don't worry about the small stuff and just be happy and enjoy life. I also like how vivid the colors are, the candidness, and the depth of field in this picture.

Throughout the trip, palm trees were everywhere and I realized how interesting of a subject they were!! I like the obscure angle of this photo!
I love this photo of my friend! I took it with an underwater camera but it had to be included just because it looks simply awesome!!! (:
This is an unedited photo of the Atlantis Resort! It highlights the exquisite architecture and its beauty!

This is an edited version of the same photo above. I edited it through instagram and thought that the photo should be lightened up and the reflections on the water should be more evident!
Lastly is a picture of my brother and Magic Johnson, a pro basketball player! My brother and I went out to the basketball courts to shoot and were pleasantly suprised by this NBA super star who actually shot around with my younger brother. This photo was also edited through instagram.
