A Smile

I was trying to figure out who has the best smile out of my friends, but I then realized that someone sitting right in front of me has one of the cutest smiles, my sister, Jamilie. We are typical sisters.. we hate eachother one day and love eachother the next. But what I really love about her is her sassiness; she will tell you the truth even if you don't want to hear it. Even though sometimes she may be hard to deal with..she is a great girl and I don't know what I would do without her. Okay enough being sappy...here is my sistaa

Montage Tutorial

For my montage, I will need to make smoke come out of a gene lamp, so I found this helpful and simple tutorial to help me do so. I have not been able to use this tutorial yet on my own work, but when I use it, I will post another picture.

Inspiration List- One Thing 3 Different Angles

I recently got these new shoes from Nordstrom at my recent shopping spree to King of Prussia with my mom and sister.
My motto of the day was: Shop til I drop at KOP

Below are some pictures of my newest addition to my preppy collection, I adore these shoes so I felt the need to incorporate them into a blog:

Poster Design

We have to make poster designs for our musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

With my poster design, I decided to focus on two elements of the play: mystery and its setting in England.

The poster has an old Union Jack orientated vertically with a silhouette of the back of man wearing a pea coat (adding the mystery). The man is centered in the cross of the Union Jack in order to assimilate to figure into the flag and his right arm is stretched out as if he is leaning.

After requests from the Theatre Director, I created another version that incorporates the figure and the union Jack, but the figure is not leaning and the figure is sporting a bowler hat.

I prefer the original version because the figure and Union Jack complement one another better and the figure's body outline works well with the shape of the Union Jack!!

I will attach photos ASAP!!!

Something That Makes Me Happy

When I think about happiness, my recent trip to the Bahamas automatically comes to mind. I was not only happy in that warm, magical environment, but the people who lived there were also constantly happy. I asked on of the people there why they were always happy and she bluntly stated, "It's the motto: Don't worry, Be happy". She was 100% right; in our everyday lives, we tend to worry about the little things in life. This mantra that was clearly exhibited throughout the Bahamas is something that I try to remember on a daily basis. Reminiscing this great vacation always makes me happy because I can't remember Paradise Island without thinking of that phrase.
Below are some photos I took throughout my trip in the Bahamas:

I took this photo during a long walk on the beach. I like how the depth of field of the footprints and the directions in which the photo is!
This photo was taken by my friend and it basically sums up how everything should be. YOLO (You Only Live Once) essentially means don't worry about the small stuff and just be happy and enjoy life. I also like how vivid the colors are, the candidness, and the depth of field in this picture.

Throughout the trip, palm trees were everywhere and I realized how interesting of a subject they were!! I like the obscure angle of this photo!
I love this photo of my friend! I took it with an underwater camera but it had to be included just because it looks simply awesome!!! (:
This is an unedited photo of the Atlantis Resort! It highlights the exquisite architecture and its beauty!

This is an edited version of the same photo above. I edited it through instagram and thought that the photo should be lightened up and the reflections on the water should be more evident!
Lastly is a picture of my brother and Magic Johnson, a pro basketball player! My brother and I went out to the basketball courts to shoot and were pleasantly suprised by this NBA super star who actually shot around with my younger brother. This photo was also edited through instagram.
